Description

The Edwin Barrel is a traditional 6' x 7' western red cedar barrel sauna with room for up to 6-8 people that offers a simple way to bring sauna therapy to your daily lifestyle.  With its barrel shape comprised of cedar, there is virtually no maintenance, and has a long lifespan.  


The Edwin Barrel is made in Ohio through Finn American and Amish craftsmanship.  We offer one all-in price that includes the Edwin Barrel, HUUM heater, and accessories. Gone are the days of too many confusing options and add-ons. 






We have quick shipping times expected of 4 weeks. We also have a super easy, guided assembly that takes just a few hours with you and another person.

Assembly

  • (Don't worry, we made it easy on you). All you need is a friend & a few hours. The Edwin Barrel was created to make the build-out as simple as possible. All staves are pre-cut and require no additional cutting to make the pieces fit.

Electrical Connection

  • The HUUM Heater is ran on a dedicated 240v hardwired line. We recommend contacting an electrician to run the electrical. Estimated costs depending on location: $500-$1,500. 

Flat Resting Surface

  • We recommend a clear space for the sauna to sit on. Do not rest on grass or dirt. Crushed gravel, river rock, cement, wooden deck, and/or pavers would make for good resting surfaces.

I couldn't be happier with my Sisu Eddy Barrel. They weren't lying about the heat. I've used it up to 200F - haven't been brave enough to go higher (yet). It fits nicely in our garage and is very comfortable inside during use. Assembly was relatively simple. I highly recommend watching the 15-minute assembly video on YouTube. The app control for the heater works very well. Easy connecting to WiFi, etc. Mine didn't come with lighting so I purchased a puck light on Amazon which works very well. Customer support was strong - huge props to Blake. Highly recommend this sauna!

I was hesitant to pull the trigger on such an expensive home sauna. I did a TON of research and ended up talking to a rep on the phone at SISU for a half hour. Excellent customer service throughout the buying process and post-purchase. I use the sauna 3-4 nights per week and it’s worked wonderfully. The heater is legit - typically only takes an hour to heat up to 200 degrees. I would buy this sauna over and over again. Do it !

We spent a lot of time researching barrel saunas for our Recovery Retreat in our backyard. For me there were some must haves including a HUUM heater and a solid roof kit. What I also love is the roof kit is cedar so it keeps the wooden look and feel all around. I just did not want to cover my barrel with a dark shingled roof that other barrels have to offer. The Eddy sauna and Eden shower combination fits perfectly in our space. The quality and craftsmanship is amazing. My wife and I really enjoyed building the sauna together. The video and pdf instructions were easy to follow. We have been loving the sauna and the smell of the cedar is incredible. Huge kudos to the SISU team for creating such a great product with an impactful community vision and mission. We are so happy to be part of the SISU family!
