SISU LIFESTYLE LLC

Terms and Conditions — Warranty & Purchase Policies

Effective September 1, 2026

1. Orders

All orders placed with SISU Lifestyle LLC must be in signed writing or upon verbal order confirmed in a signed writing. Any purchase order is accepted and binding only upon written acceptance or shipment of the goods, whichever occurs first.

2. Delivery

Unless otherwise expressly agreed, SISU Lifestyle LLC delivers goods Ex Works from its point of manufacture. Shipping dates are approximate. Risk of loss passes to the buyer upon delivery to the common carrier. The buyer is responsible for goods lost, damaged, or delayed in transit, as well as all delivery costs.

3. Acceptance

Goods are deemed accepted upon shipment unless written notice of a material and patent defect is received within ten (10) days of shipment and the goods are returned unused within thirty (30) days of acceptance. In the event of rejection of defective goods, SISU Lifestyle LLC's sole obligation is, at its option, to exchange the goods for a new piece or unit of the same type or to issue a refund or credit in the amount of the purchase price. Following acceptance, the buyer waives all rights to revocation.

Important: If any visible damage to the crate or packaging is present at the time of delivery, the buyer must note the damage on the Proof of Delivery (POD) document before signing. Failure to note visible damage on the POD at the time of delivery may limit or void the buyer's ability to file a damage claim. Delivery can be accepted, note all damage on the POD, and contact SISU Lifestyle LLC at Support@sisulifestyle.com immediately with photographs.

4. Prices and Payment

All prices are quoted in good faith and are subject to change without notice. The buyer is responsible for all applicable sales, value-added, use, and similar taxes, as well as any customs duties, import licenses, excise fees, or tariffs. All goods must be paid for in advance upon placement of the order. Failure to make payment gives SISU Lifestyle LLC the option to cancel or delay delivery without otherwise affecting its rights.

5. Shipping Policy

5.1 Processing Time

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 4 to 6 weeks from the date of purchase. Processing times may extend during periods of high demand or holidays. During peak seasons, customers will be notified of any material delays at the time of purchase or as soon as practicable thereafter.

5.2 Shipping Methods

SISU Lifestyle LLC offers delivery service via Estes freight carrier or a comparable carrier. Available methods may vary by destination.

5.3 Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on a base rate. Rates are higher for Alaska and Hawaii. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs unless otherwise specified. Customers located in remote areas requiring a third-party final-mile delivery service may receive a separate invoice for those additional charges.

If a customer is unable to accept delivery at the time of the scheduled delivery attempt, any storage fees or re-delivery charges incurred as a result are the sole responsibility of the customer and will be invoiced accordingly.

5.4 Domestic Delivery Estimates

Estimated delivery for domestic orders is 3 to 7 business days, excluding processing time. Actual delivery times may vary based on location and other factors.

5.5 Curbside Delivery

Our standard delivery is curbside. The carrier is not obligated to proceed beyond that point. Requests for delivery beyond the curbside — including garage, gate, or interior delivery — carry an additional fee. Customers interested in an upgraded delivery option should contact us at Support@sisulifestyle.com for a quote. This option may not be available for properties with steep, gravel, or unpaved driveways.

All delivery upgrade requests and order changes must be made within the applicable window listed below. All deadlines are relative to the scheduled ship date unless otherwise noted.

6. HUUM Heater Clearance Disclaimer

The overhead clearance in SISU saunas does not meet the minimum safety requirements established by HUUM. By purchasing and installing the HUUM Drop Heater in a SISU unit, the buyer accepts and assumes all risks associated with the inadequate overhead clearance, and releases both SISU Lifestyle LLC and HUUM from any liability arising from that condition. Neither SISU Lifestyle LLC nor HUUM can be held responsible for any damages, injuries, or losses resulting from use of the HUUM Drop Heater in a SISU sauna with insufficient overhead clearance. Consulting a qualified professional prior to installation is strongly recommended.

7. Residential Warranty — Units Purchased September 1, 2026 and Beyond

Effective for all purchases on or after September 1, 2026. For purchases made prior to September 1, 2026, see Section 8 below.

7.1 Warranty Period

SISU Lifestyle LLC provides a one-year limited warranty on the complete unit, covering all cedar and structural components as well as non-consumable heater components, effective from the date of delivery. From the start of year two through the end of year three from the date of delivery, coverage is limited to the core structural components of the sauna, such as walls, floor,  frame, and heating unit. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. SISU Lifestyle LLC is not responsible for any labor, service, or contractor costs associated with diagnosis, repair, removal, or reinstallation of components. This includes, but is not limited to, fees for electricians, general contractors, technicians, or any third-party service providers, even in the event of a confirmed warranty claim. The customer is solely responsible for all labor and service-related expenses.

Prior to any warranty replacement part being dispatched, customers are required to complete a series of diagnostic steps as directed by SISU Lifestyle LLC. These steps are designed to identify the root cause of the issue and confirm that a replacement component is the appropriate resolution. SISU will provide the specific diagnostic instructions at the time the claim is submitted. Warranty parts will not be shipped until the required diagnostics have been completed and reviewed by SISU Lifestyle LLC.

7.2 What Is Covered

Your sauna is built from natural cedar, a living material that responds to temperature and humidity. Expansion, contraction, checking, and variation are expected and are not defects. These characteristics do not impact performance or structural integrity when within defined thresholds.

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship across the entire unit, provided all of the following conditions are met:

  • The unit was assembled in full compliance with all included manuals and instructions.

  • All manufacturer recommendations were followed throughout assembly, installation, and use.

  • All electrical work was performed by a licensed and certified electrician in accordance with applicable electrical and building codes.

Subject to these conditions, covered defects include manufacturing and construction defects in all cedar and structural components (including warping, cracking, and splitting beyond acceptable thresholds) as well as defects in all heater components. SISU Lifestyle LLC will, at its discretion, repair or replace defective components during the warranty period at no cost to the customer.

7.3 What Is Not Covered

Cosmetic issues that do not impact structural integrity or function are not covered.

This warranty does not apply to:

  • Normal wear and tear

    • Hairline surface checks or cracks ≤ ⅛” deep

    • End checking or minor fraying on boards

    • Minor splitting that does not pass through the full board

    • Expansion/contraction causing gaps ≤ 1/4” between boards

    • Color variation, weathering, or natural aging

  • Damage resulting from improper assembly, failure to follow included manuals, or deviation from manufacturer recommendations

  • Damage from neglect, misuse, abuse, or unauthorized modifications or alterations

    • Damage from failure to tighten barrel bands regularly

    • Damage from failure to apply recommended exterior protection

    • Damage from failure to maintain proper ventilation and drying

  • Environmental damage occurring after delivery (e.g., weather exposure, flooding)

  • Electrical component failures where proof of licensed electrician installation cannot be provided

  • Customer-caused damage following receipt of the unit

    • Overheating beyond recommended temps

    • Pouring water directly on coils

    • Use of chemicals or sealants inside the sauna

7.4 Electrical Warranty Claims — Proof Required

Any warranty claim involving an electrical component, including but not limited to the heater, heating elements, temperature sensors, remote control, door sensor, and main module, requires documentation confirming that installation was performed by a licensed and certified electrician. Acceptable documentation includes an invoice, work order, or receipt from the electrician that identifies the installer and date of work. Claims submitted without this documentation will not be eligible for warranty coverage.

7.5 Warranty Claim Procedure

To submit a warranty claim, contact SISU Lifestyle LLC at Support@sisulifestyle.com within the warranty period. Include the following:

  • Proof of purchase

  • Description of the defect, including photographs or video where possible

  • For electrical component claims: documentation of licensed electrician installation

SISU Lifestyle LLC will assess the claim and, if valid, initiate the appropriate remedy at its discretion. Remedies may include component replacement, repair, or a replacement unit depending on the nature and extent of the defect.

SISU Lifestyle LLC will require additional electrical diagnostic testing to evaluate the nature of a claimed electrical defect. If the customer is unable to perform such testing independently, the cost of engaging a licensed electrician to conduct the required diagnostics is the responsibility of the customer. SISU Lifestyle LLC will communicate any such testing requirement as part of the claims review process.

7.6 Limitation of Liability

SISU Lifestyle LLC is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use or inability to use the sauna or any of its components. Total liability under this warranty is limited to the purchase price of the unit.

7.7 Non-Transferable

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the unit.

8. Residential Warranty — Units Purchased Before September 1, 2026

The following terms apply to all saunas purchased prior to September 1, 2026. These customers are not covered by the one-year warranty in Section 7. Any warranty claim involving an electrical component requires documentation confirming that installation was performed by a licensed and certified electrician. Acceptable documentation includes an invoice, work order, or receipt that identifies the installer and date of work. Claims submitted without this documentation will not be eligible for coverage. Prior to any warranty replacement part being dispatched, customers are required to complete a series of diagnostic steps and provide photo documentation as directed by SISU Lifestyle LLC.

8.1 Warranty Period

  • Heater: 3-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. Note: certain components are classified as consumables by the heater manufacturer and are not covered under this warranty. See Section 8.3 for exclusions.

  • Sauna (wood and structure): 3-year limited warranty from the date of delivery. Warranty coverage for wood and structural components requires that the sauna be rendered unusable by the defect in question. Surface-level or cosmetic issues that do not affect the unit's functionality or structural integrity are not covered.

8.2 What Is Covered

The warranty covers defects in construction, manufacturing, and materials. For the sauna structure, coverage includes rot and decay that renders the unit unusable. For the heater, coverage applies to the heater unit itself. SISU Lifestyle LLC will, at its discretion, repair or replace defective components during the warranty period at no cost to the customer.

8.3 What Is Not Covered

The following are excluded from coverage under the legacy warranty:

  • Heating elements (classified as consumable components by the heater manufacturer)

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Damage from improper installation, neglect, misuse, or unauthorized modifications

  • Environmental damage after delivery

  • Customer-caused damage following receipt

  • Electrical component failures where proof of licensed electrician installation cannot be provided

8.4 Claim Procedure

Contact SISU Lifestyle LLC at Support@sisulifestyle.com within the warranty period. Provide proof of purchase, a description of the issue, and photographs or video where possible. SISU will assess the claim and initiate the appropriate remedy.

8.5 Non-Transferable

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

9. Commercial Use Warranty

"Commercial use" refers to use in any non-residential setting, including gyms, spas, hotels, wellness centers, fitness clubs, or any environment where the product is used by multiple individuals in a business or institutional context — including any setting where use of the sauna is offered as a service to paying customers.

Commercial customers are covered under the same warranty terms and claim procedures outlined in Section 7, with the exceptions and additional conditions noted below. Please refer to Section 7 for full details on what is covered, what is not covered, claim procedures, and limitations of liability.

Customers using SISU products in a commercial setting must notify SISU in writing at Support@sisulifestyle.com prior to or at the time of installation. Failure to disclose commercial use may affect warranty eligibility.

9.1 Commercial Warranty Period and Component Exceptions

  • Heater: 1-year limited warranty from the date of shipment, including accessories, low-voltage wiring, and required electrical technology. One full set of heating elements is covered under warranty during the first year. Heating element replacements beyond that initial set, or after the first year, are not covered and are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Sauna wood components: 1-year limited warranty from the date of shipment.

All other terms — including coverage conditions, exclusions, electrical proof requirements, diagnostic requirements, and claim procedures — are as described in Section 7.

9.2 Limitation of Liability and Transferability

SISU Lifestyle LLC is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original commercial purchaser.

10. Cancellations, Returns, and Refunds

The following policy applies to all scenarios in which the original purchaser will not be retaining the unit. This includes order cancellations prior to shipment, cancellations during transit, returns of delivered units, and any other request for a refund or reversal of purchase — regardless of the reason or stage of fulfillment. All applicable fees described below will be assessed and deducted from the refund amount.

10.1 Processing Fee

A non-refundable processing fee of 4% of the total order value applies to all cancellations, returns, and refund requests. This fee covers payment processing costs and administrative expenses and will be deducted from any refund issued.

10.2 Additional Fulfillment Fees

In addition to the processing fee, cancellations and returns may be subject to additional fees of up to $1,500 to cover costs incurred as a result of the cancellation or return. These costs include but are not limited to storage fees, reconsignment fees, and additional shipping and freight charges. The specific fees assessed will depend on the stage of fulfillment at the time the request is received and will be deducted from the refund amount.

10.3 Cancellations During Transit

Orders cancelled after a Bill of Lading has been issued, or while the unit is already in transit, are subject to all fees described above plus any additional carrier or freight costs associated with return, reconsignment, or storage of the shipment. These costs will be assessed and communicated to the customer prior to finalizing the refund.

10.4 Returns of Uncrated Units

If a return is requested after the unit has already been uncrated by the customer, the following additional conditions apply:

The customer is responsible for repackaging and re-crating the unit in a manner suitable for freight return shipment. SISU Lifestyle LLC will provide guidance on packaging requirements upon request.

The customer bears all costs associated with return shipping and freight, including any carrier fees required to transport the unit back to SISU's warehouse including fees mentioned above (Section 10.1 and 10.2).

Upon receipt of the returned unit, SISU Lifestyle LLC will conduct a condition assessment. The value of any components that are damaged, missing, or rendered unusable — as determined by SISU Lifestyle LLC — will be deducted from the refund total prior to issuance.

SISU Lifestyle LLC will communicate the outcome of the condition assessment and the final refund amount to the customer before processing the refund.

Customers are strongly encouraged to photograph the unit thoroughly prior to repackaging to document its condition at the time of return.

11. Warranty Disclaimer

ALL GOODS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTIES IN SECTIONS 7, 8, AND 9. SELLER MAKES NO ADDITIONAL REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF NON-INFRINGEMENT, TITLE, MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. NO STATEMENT MADE BY SELLER, WHETHER ON ITS WEBSITE OR OTHERWISE, SHALL BE CONSTRUED TO CREATE ANY ADDITIONAL EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY.

12. Limitation of Liability

The seller's total liability arising from the purchased goods, under any theory of liability, will be limited to the amounts received from the buyer for the particular good giving rise to a claim. In no event shall the seller be liable for special, incidental, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages, including loss of use, loss of contracts, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, loss of anticipated savings, increased costs, or liabilities to third parties, regardless of whether the seller has been advised of the possibility of such damages. No action relating to the goods may be brought more than one year after shipment.

13. Indemnification

The buyer will indemnify, defend, and hold SISU Lifestyle LLC, its members, officers, employees, affiliates, successors, and assigns harmless against all claims, liabilities, obligations, damages, expenses (including reasonable attorney fees), and amounts paid in settlement related to acts or omissions of the buyer.

14. Proprietary Information and Confidentiality

All written information provided by SISU Lifestyle LLC in connection with any order, including specifications, drawings, and other tangible or intangible information, remains the property of SISU Lifestyle LLC and may not be disclosed to any third party without written consent. No licenses are granted to any SISU intellectual property under these terms. In no event shall the buyer reverse engineer any goods. The buyer shall keep confidential all non-public information received from SISU Lifestyle LLC, including pricing, trade secrets, financial information, and these Terms and Conditions.

15. Billing and Account Information

SISU Lifestyle LLC reserves the right to decline any order. We may impose restrictions on quantities per individual, household, or order. The buyer commits to providing accurate, current, and complete purchase and account information for all transactions, including email address and payment details, and to update that information as necessary.

16. Relationship of Parties

The parties agree that each is an independent contractor of the other and cannot bind the other in any respect. Neither party is responsible for the actions of the other, its agents, independent contractors, or employees.

17. Governing Law and Miscellaneous

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Ohio law. The parties irrevocably consent to the jurisdiction and venue of any federal or state court of competent jurisdiction located in Ohio. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. The buyer may not assign any rights, interests, obligations, or liabilities relating to the purchase of goods. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such holding will not affect the remaining provisions. SISU Lifestyle LLC shall be excused from performance if it suffers an event caused by an act of God or other cause beyond its reasonable control.

18. Modifications to Terms

SISU Lifestyle LLC may update these terms at any time. The most current version will be posted on our website. Continued use of or access to our website or products constitutes acceptance of any changes.
