Meet Edwin

Edwin Pollari is a proud grandfather who resides in eastern Ohio. He is the father of Mark Pollari, our manufacturing team lead.

As a 2nd generation Finn, Edwin's family spent time bathing in their personal backyard cabin sauna. Most nights, family and friends would sweat and share stories about their day long after the sun went down.

During our very first sauna session together as a team in the barrel, Edwin recounted a story, but did so entirely in the Finnish language.

After talking for nearly a minute, he stopped and paused. No one in the sauna could translate or understand him, so he did a quick translation for us.

In loose English, he said, "whatever happens in the sauna, stays in the sauna."
